"LEISURE" What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare. No time to stand beneath the boughs And stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass. No time to see, in broad daylight, Streams full of stars, like skies at night. No time to turn at Beauty's glance, And watch her feet, how they can dance. No time to wait till her mouth can Enrich that smile her eyes began. When I look at all the kids around me and actually more so their parents, I think this generation more than being Gen Y, Gen millenium/millenial or whatever other names are out there is the On Schedule generation . Sounds a little crazy right ??? Now think about it. Even before they are born, the scheduling and planning starts. Whether to have the baby, when to have the baby, what to plan if it's a boy/girl,schedule the time the baby is born if possible, schedule your time off from work (meaning schedule the time you will be with the baby), schedule the time you will nurse/feed the baby,nap-time,play-time,snuggle time,bed-time.This ofcourse goes into even more heavier scheduling as you have more control over the child.Time to get up,time to brush,time to take a bath,time to get dressed,time to eat breakfast,time to get to day-care, time to come home,time to go for extra-curricular activities(I wish people understood the goal of these activities is to enjoy and be creative/imaginati...
